This is to inform all students that in line with the Federal Government’s directives through the National Universities commission (NUC), Igbinedion University Okada will reopen for the New Year on 18th January 2021 and NOT 4th January 2021 as earlier communicated. This is part of measures taken by Government to mitigate the second wave of COVID19 infections in the Country.
However, in keeping with the University’s policy of maintaining the sanctity of its academic calendar online Teaching via the OLMS platform will commence on 4th January, 2021 pending physical resumption. The computer-based Continuous Assessment Test will also be conducted online on a date to be communicated soon.
For fresh students, registration continues online which will include the issuance of matriculation number and institutional mail. They are also required to hook on to the OLMS platform for virtual lectures
Students are to use their institutional e-mail to log on to plus.iuokada.edu.ng for further details and OLMS management.
It is in the interest of the students to reciprocate this gesture by keying into this arrangement with all seriousness and vigour.
