In a video circulating online, Sowore is seen resisting attempts by DSS operatives to transport him in a Black Maria van.

“What did I do? Do you want to put me in a Black Maria? We can get an Uber because I will not enter this car because of my back.

“Even if you want the guests to follow us, let them provide another vehicle. I will follow them, but don’t put me in a Black Maria,” Sowore said during the encounter.

DAILY POST had earlier reported the Abuja  Federal High Court ordered Sowore’s remand at the Kuje Correctional Centre until Wednesday, June 24, 2026, when his motion to stay the order revoking his bail and bench warrant will be heard.

In the case filed by the DSS, Sowore was accused of cyberstalking and criminal defamation after he labeled President Tinubu a “criminal” in an August 2025 social media post.
