I read his statement: Jorge Jesus speaks about Cristiano again
Portugal head coach Jorge Jesus opted for caution and chose not to fan the flames of the dispute following Cristiano Ronaldo’s harsh remarks about his abrupt departure from the national team camp.
Reading the statement and focusing on the FPF
When asked about the captain’s comments—accusing him of breaking his word over the planned playing time—the Portuguese coach was unequivocal: “I read the statement and now, as I do every day, I’m going to the Federation’s headquarters to work, to focus on the Portuguese national team.”
Shutting down the debate entirely
With no intention of engaging in a media spat or responding to the star’s direct accusations, Jorge Jesus firmly concluded: “I have nothing more to say.” The coach thus remains focused exclusively on planning for the team.
