Reigning MLS Cup champions Inter Miami CF will play LIGA MX champions Cruz Azul in the 2026 Michelob ULTRA Campeones Cup on Wednesday, Sept. 16. The annual inter-league matchup will be held at Nu Stadium in Miami, Florida. That means even though Lionel Messi recently announced he’s retiring from international tournaments with Argentina, you can still catch him playing outside the regular MLS schedule, facing some of the world’s best players.
