How to watch Purdue basketball vs. Vancouver Selects on Canada tour

Purdue men’s basketball’s Canadian tour begins today against the Vancouver Selects.

The game with the collection of college players from the Vancouver area tips off at 8 p.m. Eastern. It is the first of four games in five days the Boilermakers are playing against Canadian college competition.

Purdue was due for a foreign trip this summer after last taking one prior to the 2023-24 season. However, a new NCAA rule allows teams to now take these trips annually instead of every three years.

These are the first games against outside compeition as Boilermakers for freshmen Luke Ertel, Sinan Huan, Rivers Knight and Jacob Webber, as well as Princeton transfer Caden Pierce. Purdue is replacing four starters from an Elite Eight team but also returns four players — C.J. Cox, Gicarri Harris, Daniel Jacobsen and Jack Benter — who have started at least one game.

Purdue’s game is scheduled to stream on the YouTube channel of the Langara Falcons. Langara College is playing host to the game.

Sunday: Trinity Western University, 7 p.m.

Tuesday: University of Calgary, 9 p.m.

Wednesday: University of Fraser Valley, 6 p.m.
