Ohio State begins its third full season under head coach Jake Diebler after finishing 21-13 and reaching the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2022. The Buckeyes return guard John Mobley Jr., who averaged 15.7 points per game last season and shot 41% from three-point range. Amare Bynum is also back after a strong finish to his freshman year, while transfer Justin Pippen and five-star freshman Anthony Thompson are new to the squad. Ohio State beat Butler 82-73 in its final exhibition game on October 25 but will potentially miss Mobley, who is dealing with an ankle injury.

BYU went 23-12 last season and lost to Texas in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. The Cougars have several new players after losing AJ Dybantsa and Richie Saunders, but guard Rob Wright III returns after averaging 18.1 points and 4.6 assists a season ago. Michigan State transfer Jaxon Kohler joins the frontcourt, while freshman Bruce Branch III is expected to step into a big role. BYU beat Nebraska 72-61 in an exhibition game on October 16 behind Collin Chandler’s 19 points and three steals.

This is a great Men’s College Basketball matchup that you will not want to miss; make sure to tune in and catch all the action.
