Connecticut held an early 14-point lead before the host Indiana Fever erupted in the second period and cruised to a 111-91 win on Friday night. Diamond Miller paced the Sun with 19 points, Nell Angloma came off the bench for 17 points and seven rebounds, and Aaliyah Edwards and Hailey Van Lith each dropped 12 points.

The Wings last played on Tuesday night, never trailing in a 96-78 win over the visiting Portland Fire as Dallas clinched the final available playoff spot. Paige Bueckers finished with 22 points and 11 assists, Jessica Shepard scored 21 points and Arike Ogunbowale tossed in 17. Awak Kuier went for 12 points, 12 rebounds and five blocked shots.

Bueckers averages 20.6 points and 5.9 assists for Dallas, with Ogunbowale scoring 15.2 points per game and Shepard getting 14.4 points and 11.1 rebounds a night. Edwards leads the short-handed Sun, averaging 10.5 points, while Olivia Nelson-Ododa — a game-time call due to a knee injury that sidelined her the last three games — posts 10.0 points and 5.9 boards an outing.
