After almost a year of trade discourse surrounding Giannis Antetokounmpo, the Milwaukee Bucks have finally pulled the trigger on a trade. The Miami Heat are the lucky recipients, but it comes at a cost with a significant package.

They sent over a treasure trove of players, including the promising Kel’el Ware, Kasparas Jakucionis, Jaime Jaquez Jr., and Tyler Herro. However, the most promising part of the package for the Bucks has to be the three first-round picks, the pick swap, and the second-round pick.

Apart from the draft picks, they do have some promising young players. Herro might be the biggest name, but Ware has immense potential to become a star big man in this league as a defensive beast with impressive offensive potential.

After months of discourse surrounding a potential multi-team trade, it seems the Heat gave up the draft assets that the Bucks were looking for in other teams. The Boston Celtics tried their best to make the trade, but the Heat’s package was much more enticing for the Bucks.

The Portland Trail Blazers were an oft-discussed team due to them having the Bucks’ picks, but it seems this package from Miami was already enough for them.

Moving forward, the Giannis trade saga is finally over. After almost a year of constant updates, they finally got it done, which will now result in speculation about how the Heat will fit Antetokounmpo and Bam Adebayo together.
