It was hot when Indiana football opened its season last Saturday. Dangerously so.
The on-field temperature measured in at well over 100°, per Curt Cignetti’s press conference on Monday. It proved too much, understandably, for several fans as the game turned into a blowout and the cream and crimson-clad faithful made their exit before the clock hit all zeroes.
Indiana Athletics has introduced new water protocols at Memorial Stadium to help fans circumvent any heat on Saturday. Here’s what to know:
