The Sixers continued their incredible run by beating the Bulls 126-107. They are now 7-1 this season and are the absolute favourites to reach the final.

James had a very good game, but as soon as he grabbed a fan’s drink, he probably knew that was going to make the headlines.

The said fan has now had his say.

Fan details what happened before LeBron James took a sip of his drink

Fans buy courtside seats to be as close to their heroes and the game as possible, but Troy Clemons got a lot more than he ever imagined.

A longtime Sixers season-ticket holder, Clemons was walking back to his seat with a drink in his hand, and James crashed into him.

The wine spilt everywhere, but to his surprise, the 76ers superstar grabbed it and took a sip of it before heading back on the court to continue playing.

All eyes were on Clemons at that point, and he spoke to Kris Rhim about what really happened.

He said: “I was walking to my seat with whatever beverage this is, we won’t say what it is, and LeBron crashed into me. He grabbed me, and he said: “My bad!” My drink spilt everywhere.

'He grabbed me': Fan whose drink

“He took my drink from me, and he basically took a sip of it, gave it back and ran back to the field. I’m just glad for him to be here. I’m not worried about the wine getting on me.”

A glass that James took a sip from in the middle of an NBA game would’ve been good memorabilia for many fans to hold on to or even sell.

However, Clemons didn’t even consider that and threw the glass in the bin before grabbing another one.

“At the end of the day, he’s another man like me,” he said. “I mean, he’s LeBron, but I threw the cup in the trash. It’s nothing up with him. I just got a fresh drink.”
