The Cleveland Guardians‘ postseason run ended with a 7-3 loss to the Tampa Bay Rays in Game 6 of the American League Championship Series on Monday night. However, Guardians manager Stephen Vogt did not express anger or direct blame toward his players following the disappointing loss. Instead, Vogt delivered a cold-blooded message.

After the game, Vogt encouraged his players to embrace the disappointment rather than attempt to move past it too quickly.

‘Let it hurt. Let it sink in. Let it fuel you this winter,” Vogt said.
