Guardians live score updates, lineups vs Giants at Progressive Field

CLEVELAND — The banged-up Guardians look to take the game and series against the San Francisco Giants on Aug. 20 at Progressive Field.

The Guardianscrushed the Giants 8-1 on Aug. 18 but were then shut out in a loss Aug. 19, setting up the Aug. 20 rubber match.

Gavin Williams, who has been on a strikeout run as of late, will take the mound opposite Landon Roupp.

With the Guardians’ 6-1 win over the Padres on Aug. 15, Cleveland baseball secured its 10,000th victory in club history. Cleveland is the 11th MLB franchise to reach the milestone and just the third in the American League.

The Aug. 20 game between the Guardians and Giants is set to be televised by Guardians TV.

The local radio broadcast of Guardians vs. Giants is set to air on WTAM (1100-AM), WMMS (100.7-FM) and WARF (1350-AM, Spanish broadcast).
