Greater Akron boys and girls soccer regional semifinal schedule, opponents this week

As we head to the regional semifinal round of the 2026 OHSAA soccer tournament, 11 Greater Akron boys and girls teams are still alive.

Girls games will be played at 7 p.m. Nov. 3 and boys games will be played at 7 p.m. Nov. 4.

Here’s a look at each game, beginning with the girls games (all regional final locations are subject to change):

GIRLS SOCCER

OHSAA Division I, Region 4 semifinal

• Who: Walsh Jesuit (17-2-1) vs. Medina (15-3-1)
• Where: Twinsburg High School
• How they got here: Walsh beat Lorain 14-0 and Canton McKinley 10-0 and then edged Stow 1-0 in the Northeast 1 district final. Medina beat Toledo Whitmer 7-0 and then topped Mentor 3-0 in the Northeast 4 district final.
• Who’s next: The winner plays either Strongsville (12-3-3) or Magnificat (12-5-1) at 7 p.m. Nov. 7 at Byers Field in Parma.

OHSAA Division II, Region 7 semifinals

• Who: Highland (15-4-1) vs. Green (9-5-5); Hudson (18-0) vs. North Ridgeville (14-2-2)
• Where: Highland-Green at Streetsboro High School; Hudson-North Ridgeville at Nordonia High School
• How they got here: Green beat Barberton 8-0 and then clipped Padua 4-3 in overtime in the Northeast 5 district final. Highland beat Euclid 17-0 and then got past Lake 5-1 to win the Northeast 5 final. Hudson beat both Riverside and Hoover 8-0 to win the Northeast 7 district final. North Ridgeville beat Wadsworth 2-1 in overtime and the blanked Amherst 3-0 to win the Northeast 2 district final.
• Who’s next: The winners plays each other at 6 p.m. Nov. 7 at Brooklyn High School.

OHSAA Division III, Region 11 semifinal

• Who: Revere (12-5-3) vs. Aurora (14-1-3)
• Where: Byers Field in Parma
• How they got here: Revere beat Copley 4-0 and Hathaway Brown 1-0. The Minutemen beat Howland 3-1 to win the Northeast 5 district final. Aurora beat Midview 3-0 and Avon Lake 2-1. The Greenmen beat Rocky River 1-0 in overtime to win the Northeast 1 district final.
• Who’s next: The winner plays either West Geauga (16-2-2) or Gilmour Academy (13-4-2) at noon Nov. 7 at Amherst Steele High School.

BOYS SOCCER

OHSAA Division I, Region 3 semifinal

• Who: Medina (11-6-1) vs. St. Ignatius (16-2-1)
• Where: Byers Field in Parma
• How they got here: Medina beat Jackson 3-1 to win the Northeast 1 district final. St. Ignatius beat Lorain 9-0 and then Findlay 6-0 to win the Northeast 3 district final.
• Who’s next: The winner plays Perrysburg or Strongsville at 2 p.m. Nov. 8 at Bishop Fenwick High School.

OHSAA Division II, Region 7 semifinals

• Who: Twinsburg (17-0-1) vs. Hoover (11-4-1); Stow (9-8-2) vs. Brecksville (13-3-2)
• Where: Twinsburg-Hoover at Niles McKinley High School; Stow-Brecksville at Streetsboro High School
• How they got here: Twinsburg beat Massillon 10-0 and then clipped Walsh Jesuit 1-0 to win the Northeast 5 district final. Hoover beat Painesville Riverside 7-0 and then edged Amherst 2-0 to win the Northeast 8 district final. Stow beat John Marshall 7-0 and the won by forfeit over Shaker Heights to win the Northeast 1 district final. Brecksville beat Euclid 8-0 and then topped Austintown Fitch 2-0 to win the Northeast 6 final.
• Who’s next: The winners plays each other at 2 p.m. Nov. 8 at Tallmadge High School.

OHSAA Division III, Region 11 semifinal

• Who: CVCA (16-1-2) vs. Marlington (18-1-1)
• Where: Twinsburg High School
• How they got here: CVCA beat both Madison and Gilmour Academy 5-0 and then blanked Kent Roosevelt 2-0 to win the Northeast 2 district final. Marlington beat Firestone 8-0 and Aurora 3-0 and then topped Westlake 4-2 in penalty kicks to win the Northeast 5 district final.
• Who’s next: The winner plays either Kenston or Avon Lake at 5 p.m. Nov. 8 at Brooklyn High School.

OHSAA Division III, Region 12 semifinal

• Who: Revere (15-3-2) vs. Celina (12-6-2)
• Where: Ashland High School
• How they got here: Revere beat Cuyahoga Falls 5-1 and Howland 3-2 and then clipped Rocky River 3-2 to win the Northeast 3 district final. Celina beat Ottawa Glandorf 8-2 and Lima Shawnee 1-0 and then edged Lexington 1-0 to win the Northwest 3 district.
• Who’s next: The winner plays either Mansfield Senior (12-4-2) or Maumee (16-1-2) on Nov. 8 at a time to be announced at Clyde High School.
