Governor Sule Relieves Eight Special Advisers, Appoints Nine New Aides

Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State has approved the relief of eight special advisers from their appointments and the appointment of nine new ones, as part of the administration’s ongoing commitment to re-strengthening service delivery.

This was contained in a statement issued by the Secretary to the Government of Nasarawa State, Shuaibu Labaran,SAN, on Friday.

According to the statement, the aides relieved of their appointments are Lawal Karshi, Danlami Moroa, Haruna Idris, Gambo Abdullahi, Muhammadu Shege, Ibrahim Dahiru, Moses Utondo, and Elsie Monday.

The statement explained that to sustain the pace of development through informed counsel, Governor Sule has also approved the appointment of new special advisers to fill portfolios cutting across the state’s local government areas.

Those appointed are David Sule (SA on Humanitarian Service, representing Obi); Jafaru Ango (SA on Public Works, representing Karu); Ado Dauda (SA on Social Investment, representing Kokona); and Abdullahi Angibi (SA on Political Affairs, representing Lafia).

Others are Prince Nuhu Shege (SA on Rural Development, representing Toto); Joseph Attah (SA on Information and Orientation, representing Doma); Felix Saaior (SA on Education, representing Obi); Peter Mbucho (SA on Health, representing Akwanga); and Idris Dansauka (SA on Chieftaincy Affairs, representing Keffi).

The statement noted that the date for the swearing-in of the new Special Advisers would be announced in due course.
