· · 1 min read

Jigawa State Governor, Malam Umar Namadi has described the member representing Hadejia, Auyo and Kafin Hausa Federal Constituency, Hon. Ibrahim Usman as the worst representative ever produced by the constituency.
The governor made the remark on Monday while receiving a delegation from Auyo Local Government Area on a solidarity visit to Government House, Dutse.

Namadi alleged that the lawmaker had failed to execute any meaningful developmental project across Hadejia, Auyo and Kafin Hausa throughout his eleven years in office.

He further accused the federal legislator of poor performance at the National Assembly, describing him as one of the lawmakers who is merely in office without making significant contributions.

He challenged the lawmaker to seek his mandate under any opposition party if he believes he commands sufficient political support.

The governor, however, commended the people of Auyo for their continued support and assured them of his administration’s commitment to delivering people-oriented projects across the area.

Earlier, leader of the delegation, Alhaji Garba Muhammad Auyo, reaffirmed the loyalty of the people of Auyo Local Government to Governor Namadi and the All Progressives Congress (APC).

He said the local government had benefited from numerous projects under the current administration, including the establishment of the area’s first boarding technical college, construction of roads, schools and health facilities.

Garba Auyo also distanced the people of the area from what he described as recent misleading statements made by the federal lawmaker.

This is coming following the federal lawmaker’s comments after his substitution with another candidate to contest for the constituency in the coming general election.

DAILY POST had reported that, the All progressives Congress, APC, has suspended the lawmaker and six other party executives in Auyo Local Government.
