After the Atlanta Dream got the sports world hyped with their in-game entertainment for the WNBA Finals, the Golden State Valkyries brought a heavyweight for Game 5.

En Vogue was the halftime show performer for the matchup on Monday, Oct. 26 at Balhalla with the Valkyries up 25-22. The iconic R&B group, whose roots are in Oakland, served renditions of “My Lovin’ (You’re Never Gonna Get It)” and “Free Your Mind” while wearing matching flowing black outfits. The crowd cheered loudly as they wrapped up their mini concert.

For Game 4 in Atlanta, OutKast rapper Big Boi did the halftime show with fellow Atlanta legend Sleepy Brown. State Farm Arena was buzzing with performances from Skooly, 2 Chainz and Pastor Troy as well as a Game 3 halftime show by Quavo, T.I. and Dem Franchize Boyz.

Golden State did make headlines earlier in the series when they had Alanis Morissette perform the national anthem for Game 2.

The halftime score for Game 5, a combined 47 points, was the lowest in WNBA Finals history. Veronica Burton led both teams with nine points six rebounds, two assists and two blocks for the Valkyries.
