Girls golf - Goshen's Isabella Ok five shots back at state tournament

Goshen’s Isabella Ok is five strokes behind the leader after the first round of the New York State Public High School Athletic Association boys golf tournament on Sunday, June 7.

The final round will be played Monday.

Ok shot 4-over-par 76 at the Wild Wood Country Club in Rush. She posted birdies on hole Nos. 6 and 13, bogeys on Nos. 1, 4, 8 and 10 and a double bogey on No. 16.

Rachel O’Rourke of Rome Free Academy was the lone competitor to shoot under par, carding a 71. She leads Hayden Knapp of South Glens Falls by one stroke and Kamryn Yerman of Saquoit and Maria Glavin of La Salle Institute by two.
