Giannis was unsubtly hinting Heat wishes after one of his last Bucks games

You see, in mid-March, The Associated Press’s Tim Reynolds noted that Antetokounmpo kept referring to “Heat Culture” after a 112-95 win for Miami over the Milwaukee Bucks. The reason this was notable was that everyone knew Antetokounmpo’s Milwaukee future was already pretty tenuous. Plus, stars like Antetokounmpo don’t just say things like that so explicitly without some grand design or plan in the background.

As it turns out, said mid-March game also happened to be Antetokounmpo’s second-to-last game with the Bucks before they essentially shut him down for the remainder of the regular season. Roughly three months later, Antetokounmpo is now a part of “Heat Culture.”

None of this is a coicidence in hindsight:

Giannis just made multiple references to Heat Culture in his postgame media session. I’m sure people will not overreact to this.

In all fairness, I don’t think anyone is that surprised Antetokounmpo went to the Heat. But if you are, the hints, like this unsubtle one, were always there to parse through.
