Germie Bernard torches Tampa Bay for 11 catches in Week 6

Pittsburgh Steelers WR Germie Bernard caught 11 of 12 targets for 87 yards with a touchdown in a Week 6 overtime win over the Tampa Bay Bucs.

Why it matters: Bernard’s first NFL touchdown with 3:15 left in OT gave Pittsburgh the lead. Bernard was a bright spot in preseason camp and has shown his ability the last two weeks; he had six catches for 80 yards last week against Indianapolis. With WR Michael Pittman on IR, Bernard should be considered as a WR4/Flex option with WR3 potential.
