George Kittle says Brandon Aiyuk 'still got it' ahead of potential 49ers split

George Kittle has some good news and some bad news for the Washington Commanders – the apparent top suitor for Kittle’s teammate and wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk.

Kittle joined Barstool Sports podcast “Pardon My Take” on an episode that aired on Monday, June 22. During the episode, the San Francisco 49ers‘ tight end shared his thoughts on Aiyuk’s apparent looming departure from the Niners.

The good news was that the wideout appeared to be healthy the last time Kittle saw him, around October of last year. Aiyuk had missed the back half of the 2024 season and the first few games of the 2025 season after injuring his knee in a Week 7 game. Kittle said he saw his teammate on the field and running some time between Week 6-8 of the 2025 season.
