Gasperini considers starting Dybala-Mora vs Fiorentina

Roma’s league debut is approaching. Gasperini’s men will close out their Serie A opening matchday by hosting Fiorentina at the Stadio Olimpico on Monday evening at 8:45 PM, hoping to get off to a flying start.

New signing Rodrigo Mora is an immediate contender for a starting spot.

Although he arrived in the capital just a few hours ago, the former Porto player could be deployed alongside Dybala in a 3-4-2-1 formation with Malen as the sole attacking point.

At Trigoria, La Gazzetta dello Sport reports, there’s growing excitement about the potential coexistence of the two playmakers, who share technique, pace, and the ability to surprise opponents.

Mora, in particular, considers Dybala a key figure and will be able to count on the Argentine number 10’s experience as he develops.

So far, the Argentine “colony” and Wesley’s Portuguese are providing excellent tools for the 2007-born player’s rapid adaptation. 

Dybala and Morena could be deployed from the first minute vs La Viola.
