FULL LIST: NUC approves 12 new programmes for Sa’adu Zungur University

According to Tahir, the introduction of the new programmes is in line with the institution’s long-term strategy of strengthening teaching, research and innovation, as well as producing graduates equipped to address emerging national and global challenges.

The vice-chancellor expressed appreciation to the NUC for approving the programmes, pledging that the university would sustain the academic standards that informed the commission’s decision.

She also acknowledged the support of Bauchi State Governor and Visitor to the university, Bala Mohammed, for his continued investment in higher education through improvements in infrastructure, academic development and institutional growth.

Tahir further commended the Governing Council, Senate, management, academic and non-academic staff for their contributions to the successful outcome of the resource verification exercise.

She assured prospective students and other stakeholders that the university would provide the required personnel and facilities to ensure the effective delivery of the newly approved programmes in line with the commission’s guidelines.

The vice-chancellor added that the latest approvals reinforce Sa’adu Zungur University’s growing reputation as a public institution focused on quality education, impactful research, innovation and community service, while reaffirming its commitment to producing graduates capable of contributing to the socio-economic development of Bauchi State and the country.
