The Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University of Lafia (FULafia), Prof. Mohammed Isa Kida, on behalf of the Governing Council, Senate, and the University Community, has formally announced the institution’s upcoming 44th Inaugural Lecture Series.

​The event, which is open to the general public, is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, beginning at 2:00 p.m.

​The lecture will be hosted physically at the MIS Multipurpose Hall, Permanent Site Campus, Federal University of Lafia. In a bid to ensure global accessibility, the university has also provisioned a virtual streaming option via Google Meet.

​Credentials: B.Sc (Maid), M.Sc (Lag), Ph.D (Maid), FIICA, CNA, ACTI. He currently serves as the Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University of Lafia.

​Credentials: B.A. Lit. (ABU), M.A. Lit. (UNILAG) & Ph.D Lit. (NSUK).

​Specialization: He is a Professor of African Literature with a Specialty in Literary Egyptology, based in the Department of English & Literary Studies, Faculty of Arts, Federal University of Lafia.
