Former Vol will face Tennessee with Arkansas football

No. 14 Tennessee (4-1, 1-1 SEC) and Arkansas (2-3, 0-2 SEC) will renew their series on Saturday in Week 6 of the 2026 college football season.

Kickoff between the Vols and Razorbacks is slated for 4:15 p.m. EDT at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium in Fayetteville, Arkansas (SEC Network).

In Saturday’s game, Tennessee will face former Vols’ kicker Max Gilbert.

In his first year at Arkansas, he has converted 10-of-10 extra point attempts and 7-of-9 field goal attempts, scoring 31 points. He entered the NCAA transfer portal following the 2025 season.

Gilbert is a native of Memphis, Tennessee. He attended Lausanne Collegiate School where he was rated as a five-star prospect by Kohl’s kicking. Gilbert converted 45-of-46 extra point attempts and six field goals during his senior season with the Lynx.

Gilbert, a senior for the Razorbacks, appeared in 26 games for the Vols from 2023-25. He converted 34-of-45 field goal attempts and 118-of-118 extra point attempts. Gilbert converted 14-of-19 field goal attempts in 2025.
