Former Spartan listed on Seattle Kraken’s rosters as EBUG
Michigan State hockey has seen a handful of their guys make initial NHL rosters, and one unlikely candidate was on the list.
A former walk-on, and third goaltender for the Spartans, Dolan Gilbert was featured with the Seattle Kraken‘s initial roster. Gilbert will be serving as the emergency backup goaltender, or essentially, the third goaltender for the team.
A South Bend (IN) native, Gilbert started his college career with Concordia University (Wisc.) before transferring into Michigan State. He spent two years with MSU in 2024-25 and 2025-26, making two appearances.
