Having been linked with several top clubs across Europe, former Crystal Palace boss Oliver Glasner has been appointed by Nottingham Forest.

With Forest not involved in any European competition in 2026-27, it feels like a step down from Palace, whom he led to Conference League glory last season. But the 51-year-old Austrian coach surely has his reasons.
