With just three weeks less in the window, the future of Fikayo Tomori is becoming a big talking point in the Premier League.

The former Chelsea defender has spent a few really successful years at AC Milan, but is now seemingly surplus to requirements, with new manager Ruben Amorim apparently not planning on counting on the 28 year old.

With 6 England caps to his name and tons of European experience, Tomori is naturally a player Premier League clubs are looking at. We’ve heard about Newcastle interest in weeks gone by, but now a TeamTalk report has added Coventry to the list of suitors.

Premier League teams line up to try for returning Tomori

Newly promoted Coventry face a tough battle to stay up, and Tomori may not fancy that. But if he does move there he will have the benefits of being a guaranteed starter, and playing for Frank Lampard, the man who gave him his start in the senior game.

There are likely to be other Premier League teams interested at the right price, and other Serie A teams have been linked too. With just one year left on his current contract, he’s likely to be available at a very reasonable price too.

The alternative to that is that Tomori turns down moves this year so that he can become a free agent in 12 months and have his pick of teams, with all that potential transfer fee going into his wages instead.
