First availability report revealed for UCLA-Minnesota Week 10 bout
Ahead of the matchup on Saturday, both the UCLA Bruins and the Minnesota Golden Gophers released their first availability report of the week on Wednesday.
UCLA will be without starting punter Curtis Gerrand, who is one of eight Bruins who has been ruled out for the Week 10 showdown.
Gerrand is joined by DB Rodrick Pleasant, WR Mikey Matthews, WR Jonah Smith, QB Nico Iamaleava, OLB Ryan McCulloch, DL Ashton Sanders and Sam Yoon. OL Jordan Davis has been ruled doubtful while WR Brian Rowe Jr. has been listed as probable.
It’s good for the UCLA offense to have Rowe as probable for Saturday’s game. The offense has struggled in recent weeks so having Rowe along with Semaj Morgan out wide for the trip out to Minnesota. In UCLA’s four total games with backup QB Ty Dieffenbach the Bruins have averaged just 22.25 points per game even though they’ve won three of those games by double-digits.
Minnesota will be without DB Garrison Monroe, RB Ryan Estrada, OL Brett Carroll, OL Ashton Beers and Hayden Moore. The Golden Gophers have tight ends Pierce Walsh and Julian Johnson listed as doubtful while LB Mason Carrier and OL Nick Spence are questionable.
The availability report for No. 8 UCLA at Minnesota lists CB Rodrick Pleasant out, LT Jordan Davis doubtful and WR Brian Rowe Jr. probable.

UCLA remains undefeated at 8-0 while Minnesota enters the game 5-3 with losses to Indiana, Purdue and Mississippi State. Minnesota has been playing some competitive football lately though, going on the road to Indiana and forcing overtime a week after defeating No. 15 Iowa.
