The Green Bay Packers notched their fourth win in five games after outclassing the Carolina Panthers, 27-19, at Lambeau Field on Thursday.

The Packers leaned on a strong start, building a 10-point lead, 20-10, at halftime. Josh Jacobs contributed to the double-digit advantage by scoring on a one-yard punch with 6:33 to go in the second quarter.

After his touchdown, Jacobs celebrated by pretending to be handcuffed, as his teammates whooped it up with him in the end zone.

In May, the 28-year-old running back was arrested at his home in Wisconsin due to allegations of domestic disturbance, battery, and damage to property stemming from an argument with his then-girlfriend.

Fans blasted Jacobs for his foolish gesture against the Panthers.

“No way Josh Jacobs just did a handcuff celebration after being arrested for domestic violence. This dude has zero shame 🤦‍♂️,” said @ghetto_gronk.

“Shouldn’t even be back on the field!” added @GrantMcMullen10.

“WTF, Packers. This is a big FU to the commissioner, organization, and fans. Keep celebrating domestic violence,” wrote @JJ1plw.

“I hope the Packers cut him,” commented @rubydog556.

“Stay classy, Green Bay,” posted @chisportsross.

“I wanna give the benefit of the doubt and assume he isn’t this tone deaf to do this s***, but IDK, it’s pretty egregious,” stated @Jordan10VEOnTop.

Last month, Jacobs pleaded no contest to misdemeanor charges and missed the first six weeks of the season after being sanctioned by the NFL.

He signed a four-year, $48 million contract extension with the Packers in 2024.

Green Bay will battle the New England Patriots in Week 9.
