Ex-Adamawa gov Bindow meets Tinubu after ADC exit

Former Governor of Adamawa State, Umar Jibrilla Bindow, has held a meeting with President Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Villa in Abuja following his resignation from the African Democratic Congress, ADC.

It was gathered that the meeting took place late Monday night, although details of the visit have yet to be disclosed.

Bindow’s resignation from the ADC was announced on August 1, 2026.

The former governor, who served as Adamawa State governor from 2015 to 2019, had earlier submitted a resignation letter dated July 15, 2026, to the ADC Ward Chairman in Lokuwa Ward, Mubi North Local Government Area of the state.
