‘Everything happening to you is a result of my curses’ — Chichi to Phyna

Ex-Big Brother Naija housemate, Chichi, has reignited her long-running feud with fellow reality star, Phyna, accusing her of seeking attention amid the ongoing N15 million celebrity boxing deal controversy.

Reacting to the drama, Chichi claimed she had moved on from their issues after the 2023 BBNaija reunion but alleged that Phyna keeps bringing her name into conversations.

In a strongly-worded statement, she said:

“I have moved on since the 2023 Big Brother reunion show ended, and I laid enough curses on Phyna. Everything currently happening to you is a result of those curses. Because of a N15 million boxing deal saga, you have been shouting over the money like a lunatic.”

Chichi also downplayed the significance of winning the reality show, insisting that success after the programme is what truly matters.

“Winning BBNaija is not the ultimate. What matters is what happens after the show,” she said.

The reality star further accused Phyna of being desperate for fame while addressing her dispute with influencer, Ashmusy.

According to Chichi, she was also approached for the celebrity boxing event but turned it down.

“Girl, at this point, you need to take a chill. Have you ever sat down and asked yourself why people don’t want to associate their brand with you? I am not a brokie like you, nor am I desperate for fame. I was born to be famous.

“Those people also reached out to me in my DM, but I rejected it because I am not desperate for fame. I grew up on the streets, but I am not a mad woman. You’re a disgrace to the people from the streets,” Chichi added.

The comments have generated mixed reactions online, with some social media users urging both reality stars to move on from their years-long feud, while others wondered why the conflict continues to resurface.
