In fact, Bellingham is only one goal behind matching Diego Maradona, who is widely believed to be the best player in World Cup history.

At only 23, there is a strong chance that the England midfielder continues to add to his tally too.

By the time his career is over, Bellingham could genuinely be one of the top scorers in the history of the competition, which would be a remarkable achievement considering his position.

With England into the semi-finals, there is a strong chance he adds to his tally during this year’s tournament.
