Euromatch NPFL: Enyimba boosted by return of key duo for Plateau United tie

Enyimba have been boosted by the return of key duo Joel Ezra and Utum Godswill for their Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, matchday six encounter against Plateau United.

Ezra has been out of action for a while due to illness.

The versatile defender made 27 appearances for the People’s Elephant last season.

Goalkeeper Godswill is also back in training after sustaining an injury three weeks ago.

The duo are available for selection in Sunday’s encounter, scheduled to take place at the Enyimba International Stadium, Aba.

Emmanuel Deutsch’s side will hope to build on their impressive 4-2 home victory over Shooting Stars in midweek.

It was the nine-time champions’ first win in the NPFL this season.

They currently occupy 19th position in the league standings, with four points from six matches.
