Georgia is slight underdogs against Alabama. The Dawgs are coming off a 38-14 home win over Vanderbilt while Alabama earned a dominant 56-23 road win over Mississippi State last week.

Weather is currently expected to play a big role in the Georgia-Alabama game with rain and wind in the forecast for Saturday.

“Just assess it based on the situation we’re dealing with,” Georgia coach Kirby Smart said on weather impacting the Georgia-Alabama game. “Weather obviously can be a factor. This time last week, we thought there was going to be a monsoon for the Vanderbilt game. You have to plan based on it, and you’ve got to change the plan based on future forecast.”

Regardless of the weather, the game will be very important for both teams. Both Georgia and Alabama made the College Football Playoff last season. Georgia and Alabama both have 5-0 records and are tied atop the SEC standings with 3-0 SEC records.
