Erling Haaland is having an adventurous offseason that included posing for a photo with Michael Jordan. 

The Norwegian footballer captivated fans throughout his World Cup performance on and off the field. Now that the World Cup is over, fans are still keeping up with Haaland’s post-World Cup run.

Haaland posted a photo alongside Jordan on Instagram Friday, August 1. Fans loved that the two linked up and flooded Haaland’s comment section.

“They making each other look like normal height,” one fan wrote.

“Yup I said he’s like the Michael Jordan of soccer and here it is,” another fan wrote, praising Haaland’s athletic ability.

Several official sports accounts like the Chicago Bulls, Manchester City F.C., Nike, Jumpman23, and more commented, “Nice.”

The athletes opted for a casual look with Haaland wearing a black polo, white shorts, and black Hermès sandals. Jordan wore a white T-shirt, khaki shorts, black sunglasses, a white baseball cap, and matching white sneakers.

The 2026 World Cup was the Norwegian striker’s debut in the international soccer tournament. He scored seven goals and led Norway to the quarter-finals for the first time in history.

Since Norway was defeated by England, Haaland has been making moves. He celebrated his 26th birthday in St. Tropez, attended his teammate Gianluigi Donnarumma’s wedding in Italy, and sat in the front row of Dolce & Gabbana’s Alta Sartoria menswear show in Taormina, Sicily, with his girlfriend Isabel Haugseng Johansen.

After a whirlwind summer, next up for Haaland is preparing for the upcoming 2026–27 club season with Manchester City.
