Eredivisie: Arokodare nominated for Ajax Goal of the Month

Super Eagles striker, Tolu Arokodare is in the running for Sky Bet Championship Player of the Month for August.

Arokodare was nominated for his superb strike in Ajax’s UEFA Europa Conference League clash against Sion.

The striker hit the target five minutes after the break for his second goal of the game.

The 25-year-old registered four goals for the Eredivisie giants during the month.

Pharrell Nash, Anton Gaaei, Abdellah Ouazane, and Julian Brandt are the other players nominated for the award.

The other nominees are Davy Klaassen, Oliver Edvardsen, Emre Ünüvar, Diego Pugno and Isa Benyahia.

Arokodare is on a season-long loan at Ajax from Sky Bet Championship club Wolverhampton Wanderers.
