EPL: Xabi Alonso to be without three key Chelsea players for Brentford clash

Chelsea manager, Xabi Alonso, could be without several key players for their Premier League clash against Brentford.

The trio of Joao Pedro, James Reece and Moises Caicedo were absent from training on Tuesday morning.

The Blues are looking to bounce back from a disappointing 2-2 draw with Hull City last time out.

According to Sky Sports, Pedro was missing during the open portion of Tuesday’s practice.

The Brazilian forward has scored three goals and provided three assists in just five appearances this season.

Club captain James and midfielder Caicedo were also missing from the main group.

James has played the full 90 minutes in three of Chelsea’s four league fixtures.
