EPL: Saha picks title favourites after Arsenal lose, Man City win

Former Manchester United striker, Louis Saha, has claimed that Manchester City are now the “strongest” team in the Premier League title race.

Saha was speaking on Sky Sports, after a weekend that saw Arsenal lose 3-0 at Brighton.

City then edged an eight-goal thriller, defeating Sunderland 5-3 at the Etihad on Sunday to go three points clear ahead of the international break.

Saha has claimed that the momentum may have shifted away from the Gunners with that heavy defeat.

He said: “I think everyone can say that Arsenal had the best momentum even if they lost it towards the end .

“I think now City understood their mistakes, even if they still have young players coming through, they have this experience.

“The combination of strength and creativity is enormous in midfield so I do think they are the strongest one.”
