EPL: Lampard reveals difference between Coventry facing Arsenal, Man City after defeat

Coventry City manager, Frank Lampard, has pinpointed the difference between his team facing Arsenal and Manchester City in the Premier League.

According to Lampard, Coventry was more daunted by facing Arsenal following their 1-0 loss to Manchester City on Saturday.

Erling Haaland’s goal gave Enzo Maresca’s side all three points against Coventry at the Etihad Stadium.

“Going to Arsenal two weeks ago felt very different, it felt like our first game for 25 years in the Premier League,” Lampard said at his post-match interview.

“Today  felt like a competitive Premier League team coming with a clear idea and a threat, so we must take that forward.”

Coventry now sits bottom of the Premier League table with zero points after losing their first three matches.
