EPL: I’m worried – Paul Merson predicts where Man United will finish this season

Arsenal legend, Paul Merson, has predicted Manchester United will finish outside of the Premier League top five this season.

Merson was speaking ahead of Manchester United’s Premier League derby with Manchester City on Sunday.

According to him, Michael Carrick’s squad is not big enough, and they are not good defensively.

“The squad is not big enough,” Merson said of Manchester United as quoted by Sky Sports.

“Defensively, they are nowhere near good enough. They let in two goals against Everton.

“So I am worried, and this is why I didn’t put Manchester United in my top five at the start of the season. Nothing’s changed for me since then. When you draw games, it hurts you.”
