England's Harry Kane details Palm Beach golf outing with Donald Trump

England captain Harry Kane revealed Friday that he played golf with President Donald Trump in Palm Beach roughly 18 months ago, calling the outing a “surreal experience.”

Kane spoke ahead of England’s World Cup quarterfinal against Norway on Saturday at Hard Rock Stadium.

The English star was asked about the golf outing after recent social media posts from Trump praising the English star.

“I played alright to be honest,” Kane said of his round. “It was about 18 months ago. (Trump) invited me to play when I was down in Palm Beach. When the president invites you somewhere, it was a pretty surreal experience to meet him and obviously play golf with him.”

Kane also complimented Trump’s game.

“His golf is pretty good to be honest with you. I hope I can play golf as good as him when I’m his age, that’s for sure. Unique experience and grateful that he invited me out to play, for sure.”

Based on Kane’s timeline, the outing likely occurred during the German Bundesliga’s winter break in late 2024 or early 2025.

England’s all-time leading goal scorer has shown a penchant for Palm Beach’s golf culture in recent years.

In February 2025, Kane was announced as an investor and limited partner in Tiger Woods’ TGL team, Jupiter Links GC.

In a YouTube video appearance in October 2024, Kane publicly discussed his experience playing 27 holes with Woods while on vacation with his wife in the Bahamas.

Of course, England made its base camp in Palm Beach Gardens ahead of the 2026 World Cup in order to better acclimatize to the summer heat.

Kane enters Saturday’s quarterfinal with six goals, tied for fourth-most in the tournament, as England seeks a place in the World Cup semifinals.
