Brazil‘s Endrick

Real Madrid striker Endrick scored the winning goal in Brazil’s 2-1 triumph over Egypt on Saturday night.

Superstar winger Vinicius Jr also played 45 minutes — the same amount as Endrick — and started the game, while the youngster came off the bench in the second half.

It was a similar theme for Brazil when compared to their last friendly; Carlo Ancelotti made a lot of changes to give game-time to as many players in the squad as possible.

Vinicius Jr had a few decent chances to score, but was not able to convert any of his two shots on target. He created two big chances in the game and was able to past defenders with ease, and even though he did not register a goal or an assist, he did look quite good in his 45-minute appearance.

Endrick, on the other hand, had slightly lesser involvement, with 18 touches compared to Vini’s 20. He played as a striker in the second half and was able to score from a first-time shot after a good pass from Raphinha.

Endrick could have had one more goal as he made some brilliant off-ball runs, but they were not picked up by his teammates.

Brazil’s next game will be at the start of the World Cup against Morocco on June 13.
