Emeka Ike: Lere Olayinka should be in jail – Fayose [VIDEO]

Nigerian businessman Isaac Fayose has said that Lere Olayinka, the media aide to the Minister of the FCT, Nyesom Wike, should be in jail for revealing data of Nollywood actor, Emeka Ike, from the server of the Independent NationalElectoral Commission, INEC.

Fayose made this statement in a video sighted by DAILY POST on X, where he lamented about the state of Nigeria as a nation. “We were all here a few weeks ago when Lere Olayinka, an aide to Wike, posted Emeka Ike’s details from INEC records. “Up till now, no action has been taken against him, and he is still walking free.

In a lawful country, Lere would have been in jail by now,” he said.

According to him, banditry, kidnapping and terrorism have remained difficult to end in Nigeria because the country is lawless, noting that there seems to be one law for some people and another for others.

Recall that Emeka Ike had said that he felt insecure for the first time in his life when his data at the INEC was exposed.

Meanwhile, the Nollywood actor has instituted a lawsuit against INEC and Lere Olayinka, over the alleged unauthorised disclosure of his voter registration information.
