Elite 4-star 2029 cornerback set to visit Notre Dame in the fall
Amarian McRae – a Class of 2029, 4-star cornerback out of Cardinal Mooney (Sarasota, Fla.) – has been getting plenty of attention from the college football world.
According to 247Sports, McRae has 14 Division I offers, including one from Notre Dame. As the recruiting trail continues to run hot for the Irish, McRae will soon be gracing his presence at Notre Dame according to Mike Singer.
On3 recently reported that McRae – standing at 6-foot-1, 175 pounds – will visit the Irish on Nov. 7 when they host Miami. According to 247Sports, McRae is the No. 9 cornerback in the country and a top-10 overall prospect in the state of Florida.
McRae had 35 tackles, two interceptions, 19 pass deflections and a fumble recovery in 13 games as a freshman last season for the Cougars.
Cardinal Mooney (1-0) won its season opener, 39-21, over Berkeley Prep last Friday. McRae recorded six tackles and four pass deflections in that game.
