€100m Premier League star “favours” PSG move – but no deal looks likely this summer

Reports in the the French media today are claiming that Bournemouth’s superb breakout attack Eli Junior Kroupi has a group of top clubs chasing his signature this summer – but PSG are his dream destination.

FootMercato say that Man City, Arsenal and Bayern Munich are interested, but Kroupi “favour” a move to Paris, back in his native France.

There has been growing interest in Kroupi for months as his sensational start to life in the Premier League grew more and more impressive. He finished the campaign with 13 goals in the Premier League, a record for a teenager in their first full year in the competition.

Kroupi looks like he will be at the very top of PSG’s list, along with perhaps Yan Diomande of RB Leipzig. Whether they can sign him this summer is another question, however. Bournemouth are asking for €100m, and are under no pressure to reduce that in the short term.

Of course, PSG could break the bank at any moment and make a deal happen, but right now things seem so settled at the Parc Des Princes it would seem an unnecessary risk.
