The Panthers worked their way to a 9-1 advantage heading into the seventh inning where the eight-seed Huskies would score five runs in a comeback attempt. Emma Barnett earned the win in the circle with 12 hits, six runs, five strikeouts, and no walks across seven innings.

The win marks Dakota Valley’s first state title in program history.
