Duke Recruiting: Colton Hiller Update

Looks like Colton Hiller’s recent visit to Duke went pretty well, with him saying it was “awesome,”which is pretty great to hear.

Here is part of what he said: “It exceeded expectations. It was great, definitely, just getting down there and seeing what Duke is about and the brotherhood. It was awesome.”

If you noticed, recently Scheyer was asked about JoJo Boumtje Boumtje coming in early, and he essentially said that he won’t be the last guy to do that. Hiller had an interesting comment about that idea as well: “They want to come in there early and [be] a big piece of their next season.”

Finally, we’ve seen the suggestion that since his brother has committed to Florida for football, that he’ll try and get Colton to choose the Gators as well. Hiller says there’s some truth to that, but that his brother understands that it’s his decision to make, and he’s not pushing Florida too hard.

The general consensus is that it’s probably going to come down to Duke or Florida, so that’s good news as well.
