Dolphins-Chiefs first NFL injury report: Jaylen Wright update

Miami (0-2) will host Kansas City (2-0) on Sept. 27 in Week 3 of the NFL season. Kickoff between the Dolphins and Chiefs is slated for 1 p.m. EDT at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida (CBS).

An initial NFL injury report was released Wednesday for the Miami-Kansas City game. Miami running back Jaylen Wright was listed as limited participation (stinger, foot) for Wednesday’s practice.

In two games with the Dolphins this season, Wright has recorded 10 rushing yards on three attempts. His longest run was eight yards. The former Vol has totaled 185 kick return yards on five attempts.

Long snapper Tucker Addington (limited participation, shoulder), defensive end Robert Beal (did not participate, hamstring), wide receiver Chris Bell (limited participation, knee), cornerback Julius Brents (limited participation, knee), wide receiver Caleb Douglas (did not participate, ankle), cornerback Chris Johnson (full participation, shoulder), wide receiver Ryan Miller (limited participation, hip, back), linebacker Chop Robinson (full participation, concussion) and tight end Seydou Traore (full participation, thumb) were also listed on Wednesday’s first injury report for Miami ahead of hosting the Chiefs.

The following players were listed on Wednesday’s injury report for Kansas City: defensive end Felix Anudike-Uzomah (limited participation, quadricep), linebacker Jeffrey Bassa (full participation, shoulder), cornerback Jadon Canady (full participation, knee), linebacker Jack Cochrane (full participation, calf), safety Chamarri Conner (limited participation, knee), cornerback Mansoor Delane (full participation, shoulder), safety Jaden Hicks (full participation, biceps), defensive tackle Chris Jones (limited participation, calf), quarterback Patrick Mahomes (full participation, knee), wide receiver Rashee Rice (full participation, knee), tackle Josh Simmons (did not participate, back) and cornerback L’Jarius Sneed (limited participation, knee).
