The Los Angeles Dodgers are deploying a new lineup after a quiet night offensively against the Milwaukee Brewers in Game 1.
Manager Dave Roberts and the Dodgers can hardly afford to sit on their hands after the crushing Game 1 loss.

4. Shohei Ohtani, DH
5. Will Smith, C
6. Max Muncy, 3B

The Dodgers have a few hitters struggling, with Freddie Freeman going 0-for-4 in Game 1 and Will Smith going 1-for-19 throughout the postseason.
Additionally, Kike Hernandez went 0-for-3 in Game 1, marking his second straight hitless postseason game.

The Dodgers had a good quality of at-bats in Game 1 overall; they just failed to score runners and capitalize on all the base traffic.
Los Angeles’ offense relies heavily on home runs, and just a few hard hits can be enough.
The Dodgers are facing another righty in Logan Henderson, who has a 1.80 ERA though five innings this postseason. He has emerged as one of the more promising righties, but LA has the pitching advantage.
Yoshinobu Yamamoto takes the mound, hoping to keep the Dodgers in the game through his elite postseason heroics.
Yamamoto is one of baseball’s best road pitchers, with an elite postseason record that reflects his strong run in 2025.
Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Yoshinobu Yamamoto (18) returns to the dugout after the bottom of the first inning of the MLB National League game between the Cincinnati Reds and the Los Angeles Dodgers at Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati on Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2026. The Dodgers led 3-0 after three innings.
Few pitchers should inspire more confidence than Yamamoto, who tends to adjust and deliver in the highest-stakes scenarios.
After losing Game 1, the Dodgers need to win Game 2 to take home-field advantage, and Yamamoto will know that, given the offense’s struggles, he needs to be on his A game.
Do you think the Dodgers can pull out a win in Game 2?
