Denny Hamlin ties Kyle Busch with 63rd Cup Series victory

Denny Hamlin dominated on Sunday at Michigan International Speedway, winning the FireKeepers Casino 400 Cup Series race by 11 seconds.

The victory took on added significance for the driver of the 11 car. It was his 63rd victory in the series, tying him with the late Kyle Busch for ninth place on the all time NASCAR Cup Series wins list.

Hamlin was given an “18-8” flag with Busch’s autograph on it and he drove around the track at Michigan with it while celebrating the victory.
